Amici della Musica Mestre
Friends of Music Mestre. Association founded on july 1960. At the beginning it was hosted in the main hall of the institute Pacinotti, it began to organize the first concerts on november 1960.

A.R.I.Mestre
Association born in 1977 to collect the i radioamateurs of Mestre. It has about 100 members and organizes yearly the Course for the ministerial exams.

Associazione Artigiani e Piccole Imprese Mestre C.G.I.A.
Association Craftsmen and Small Firms Mestre. It is formed by the local craftsmen and small undertakings and provides its services to them, testifying the historical vocation of the city of Mestre for the services sector. The C.G.I.A. of Mestre is also famous in the whole Italy for its accurate studies and statistical researches.

Avis Mestre
The Association Volunteers Italian Blood was founded in 1927 in Milan by the doctor Vittorio Formentano. In 1953 it opened its section "Communal Avis Mestre-Marghera". Its purpose is stimulating blood-donors.
Caligola
The Cultural Association Caligola was founded in 1980 and realizes musical promotions and events, expecially about jazz, avant-garde rock music, ethnic music and music of research.

Centro Studi Storici di Mestre
Center for Historycal Studies of Mestre. Cultural association founded in 1962, with the purpose to propagate the history and the culture of Mestre, of its area and environs, through seminars, congresses, exhibitions, publications, guided tours and dinners. It has its seat at the Cultural Center Villa Pozzi (Gazzera Alta Street, number 46).

Gruppo Sbandieratori e Musici di Mestre (G.S.M.M.)
Group Displayers of Flags and Musicians of Mestre. The group, that was born in 1997 as an extraschool activity of the Institute "A.M.Mozzoni" of Mestre, on the initiative of the teacher Giancarlo Tronchin, organizes displays and cultural and folklore activities to promote the historical research of the local traditions and their valorization. The first display organized by G.S.M.M. was the "Palio dei Borghi e sfilata storica", commemoration of the fire of the of the Castle of Mestre in 1513 by the troups of the last remaining part of the League of Cambray. The G.S.M.M. is formed by young displayers of flags and drummers and an historical procession of ladies and warriors. Since 1997 to today the group took part to several historical and not displays, in various cities of Veneto: the Carnival in the Villa at Strà, the Caorlevivistoria, the Palio of the Quarters of Mogliano Veneto, the small marathon of the Dukes in Mira, the Venicemarathon, the "Festival of Gymnastic", the Carnival of Europe of Cento (FE), the yearly historical commemoration "Assault to the Castle" in Mestre. The group took also part to the tournament of Castelbrando for couples and singles; to the Regional Championship of Veneto set in Merlara (Pd) and in Megliadino San Fidenzio (PD) in 2006.

Group for Natural Sciences "Charles Darwin". Association that's part of the Cultural Center Villa Pozzi (Gazzera Alta Street, number 46).

It's the youth section of the next. It was founded in 1984.

Lions Club International
It's represented in Mestre by "Mestre Host" (1955), "Mestre Castelvecchio" (1987) and by "Mestre Techne" (1995). It has purposes of social, civic and cultural promotion.
Mestre Benefica
Charitable institution founded at the restaurant "Geremia's" in Cesare Battisti Square on 29 february 1928. Since then the members are meeting every year and are going on with their meritorious activity of collecting offerings and of helping people in financial straits, on pointing out by public bodies, by press or by the members themselves.
RotarAct Club Venezia Mestre
The Rotaract Club Venezia - Mestre was founded in 1971 and belongs to the 2060th District Rotaract International (Triveneto). Every year it organizes a service in favour of the community and makes it collecting money through festivals, congresses, dinners and meetings.

Università Popolare
Popular university. Cultural association born about in 1860, suppressed during the fascism, it was newly opened in 1945 by men coming from C.L.N. (officially since april 1959, 24th, under the name of "Università popolare Giovanni Pascoli di Mestre"). It organized lectures, conversations and lessons of literature, art, economics, history, sociology, politics; it collected a small library and made  several trips.

Libertas Mestre (gymnastic society founded in 1902 and whose charter dated back to 1905; it distinguished itself in canoying, swimming, running, cycling, gymnastic and target-shooting; it was in competition with Spes Mestre)
Sailing Circle Mestre (it was born in 1981 under the name of "Saling Circle Puntasangiuliano" and got the actual namein 1986. Since 1987 it's being associated to Federazione Italiana Vela. It has 150 card members)
Skiing Club (skiing society founded in 1955 as Sci Cai; it organized The Prize City of Mestre in 1982 and in 1984, the regional finals of the Regions Trophy in 1992 and the national finals of the Regions Trophy in 1993)
Soccer Mestre (the first documented informations date back to 1912; in 1929 some societies of the town merged into Soccer "Mestre", name alternated with "Mestrina" till 1987; in 1987 the sport rights were moved to Palermo and Mestre disappeared; it was founded again in 1991 and, after a bankrupt, in 2003)
Spes Mestre (gymnastic society founded in 1903)
Volley Mestre (team that played in several Italian cathegories, A2 league and below)
